VIRTUS certifications do not transfer between locations. If you are currently VIRTUS Certified elsewhere, such as your parish or another school, that does not mean you are VIRTUS certified at 网络博彩平台. All steps listed below need to be completed in order to become VIRTUS certified at 网络博彩平台. Please also note the following:

Training, Documents, and Background Screening EACH need to be completed within the last 5 years

Register an account on VIRTUS
- If you already have a VIRTUS account, please make sure all requirements have been completed within the last 5 years

Select role of Volunteer WITH Substantial Contact with Children
Complete the Background Screening Requirement online
Complete Acknowledgment of Documents Requirement online:
- Code of Conduct
- A Statement of Policy for the Protection of Children and Youth
Complete Protecting God's Children 3.2 Training Requirement online
Upload three (3) personal reference contact information online, 网络博彩平台 will then reach out on your behalf
If any references are needed from another Archdiocesan location, 网络博彩平台 will reach out on your behalf
Wait for a confirmation email from 网络博彩平台 indicating you are VIRTUS Certified at 网络博彩平台 and approved to volunteer, which can take up to three weeks

Training, documents, and background screening each need to be renewed every 5 years. Renewing one requirement does not reset your five-year period, each requirement might have different renewal dates.

I have a security clearance through the government, do I still need to complete VIRTUS Training?
